A little bit of history..
Back in the 1950's a visit to the beauty parlour was a weekly ritual. Hair was styled using curlus and prolonged periods under the hairdryer hood. The resulting look was often bouffant and sprayed into wavering stiffness.
The 1960's brought us Vidal Sassoon and his precision haircutting techniques. He turned hairdressers into haircutters while revolutionizing the industry and liberating women with modern and easy to manage hair.
In the 80's more sophisticated hair colouring techniques and products were developed and colour went mainstream. Sassoon started to experiment with a wide range of shades and methodsm bringing cut and colour closer together.
Today the market and trends have moved in the direction of over-styling and are not easy to recreate at home. Sassoon on the other hand makes the cut the style. A Sassoon cut doesn't wash out after a salon visit and they are easy to recreate by the client.
